As a designer, one of the elements you must have in your design package is an arsenal of good fonts or typefaces. As a graphic artist I am always looking for “free fonts to download”. I must mention however, it is not easy finding professional looking fonts for free. After lots of research, I have come across a great Web site where you can download professional looking fonts for free. The best part about it is, these fonts can be used for Windows and Mac computers.

As you might know there are lots of crappy free font sites out there where you can download tons of free fonts. In the end, you might come back with just a few typefaces that will work for your design project.

Don’t bother with those crappy sites that don’t give you quality font content. Instead check out defont.com . This site offers some amazing professional looking fonts totally free for you to download. I think what I like most is the distressed looking fonts.

Online applications are starting to become the tool now days. Today I came across a free online painting program that allows you to paint and draw right into your web browser. Also you can edit images with this free online application.

So if you want to create a doodle online this is a must see. I have to admit it’s not as good as SUMO Paint but it does do a really nice job emulating some of the professional leading programs out there today.

The layout of the interface looks a lot like Photoshop. It looks and feels like the tools you would use in Photoshop. So if you don’t have Photoshop this is almost like a preview of what Photoshop has to offer. . Photoshop obviously can handle a lot more and is much more powerful when it comes to brushes and filters and effects. However, its free so it definably worth checking out and playing with it a little..

My guess is I am not the only one that has duplicate music in my iTunes library. Getting rid of the duplicate music in your library is easy to do however, it is involves some time. Like most people you’re I Tunes music library probably has over a few thousand songs. So using the feature that iTunes gives you to get rid of your duplicate content can really take hours to do.

I came across a site called tidysongs.  This piece of  software  allows you to go through and get rid of all of your duplicate songs with one click of a button.  You can use this software for your Mac or your Windows PC

Not only that but, I am able to fix spelling mistakes and also fix album titles. Want to Race Online for Free!?

SUMO Kart is a really cool Free online racing game that allows you to race against other players times.  You don’t even need a user account to race.  So you could start racing right away.  However if you want to keep track of your times.  Then you can create a free user account and keep track of all of your times. It is a very addicting game.  Great resource for anyone looking to kill a little time!

Controls are very easy to use.  To accelerate just push the “A” key on your keyboard.  To slow down/decelerate.  All you need to do is press the “Z” key on your keyboard.

Ok one of the coolest finds that I have came across is this really cool online painting program.  it really is no Joke.  Someone has actually came up with a web application that allows you to create paintings right into your own web browser.
