Using video screen capture software for my mac is something I use on a daily basis.  I create a lot of training videos for people to learn how to use there software while having fun while they do it.

Using Video screen capture software that is freeware

I have to admit, I love to look for freeware software if it is available.  However, like the saying goes, you get what you pay for.  With my experience I find that majority of the software out there that is freeware can really be a bunch of crap!  Not to mention very limited.

Depending what your needs are maybe you will do just fine with freeware software.  However since my business relies on me to record quality screen capture video.  I don’t mind investing a little money in stable screen recording software.

I have used all of the top screen recording software programs like Snapz, ishowu and also snow leopard quicktime player with the screen recording software built in.  However, I always come back to one that works the best and that is screenflow.

Ease Screen Recording software for my mac

What I like about screen flow is its Ease of use.  Recording my desktop to Corel Painter or even video tutorials in Adobe Photoshop is a breeze.  The software couldn’t be any easier.

I think what I like the most about this screen capture software for my mac is how basic and easy the software is to use but at the same time how powerful it can be if you want it to be.

Not Free but well worth the price tag

ScreenFlow does come with little bit of a price tag however like I stated earlier you get what you pay for.  If you are serious about creating very high quality video screen capture recordings for your mac.  The price really isn’t much of a problem.  The software cost me $100.00 however after it was said and done, it was well worth it.  Like the video tutorials on my site, most of them were created with screen flow.  If you like the videos and like the quality you really might want to consider getting this piece of software.

The best part is you can upload the videos right to youtube with just one click of your button!  I totally recommend this software package for you.
